Larcher Medical Imaging, began over twenty years ago as a consulting company for service engineers working on Siemens PET scanners. Today, we inspect, sell, service, and install Siemens and GE PET and PET/CT equipment all around the world. We have service engineers who can provide remote or on-site repairs and we stock tested and reconditioned parts to save our customers’ precious time and money.
About Kevin
LMI’s founder, Kevin Larcher, started out as an electronics and imaging hardware test technician with companies around Oak Ridge, Tennessee. At CTI, later named CPS and then Siemens Medical, Kevin was a Systems Engineer who worked directly with all aspects of the company from system design to component build and system configuration and testing. He eventually moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to work for a large PET equipment customer, Carolina’s Health Care, now Atrium Health Care. From there, steadily increasing consulting and servicing requests from outside PET operators eventually grew into the establishment of our company. Since then, we have expanded our services.
